Last night I, with fellow team mate Teala, devised our draft shopping list. By combining our money together we have been able to fill a trolly of £14 worth of goods. We then plan to divide each product (and thus price) in half, bring our individual cost down to within our individual budget. By living of a mixture of oats, beans and Sainsbury's basics we have both come just under our £7 budget at £6.75. Together our 50p could buy us a nice sweat treat to ration, not that it is likely to last then more than a few moments!

Provided we can find the following we plan to purchase: (Remember to divide the quantity and price in half for ever item)

  1. Replaced UHT milk with 2 pints of semi-skimed.
No sweat corn - kidney beans instead.
No wholemeal flour, but brought frozen hash browns.
didn't buy oil, using butter instead.

Shopping came to £12. Brought onions and potatoes to top up.
